The 2025 Salem Show, Dog Show & BBQ will be held on Bank Holiday Saturday 23rd August at 3pm at Salem Memorial Hall and adjacent community field.

About the Show
Held every August Bank Holiday Saturday for as long as we can remember, the Salem show is not to be missed. A proper old fashioned village show - with categories to enter your prize dahlias, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, craft and art sections, cookery - including Men Only baking prize - jams, preserves and photography.
Inside the hall the WI put on their famous afternoons teas, and outside there are stalls, a dog show and a hotly contested well-wanging competition.
This year we also have a BBQ and a pop up bar selling beer, cider, wine and soft drinks - from 3pm until last orders at 11pm.
