Bywyd Gwyllt Salem Wildlife
Scratch the surface and you’ll find lots of wildlife in and around Salem. From the amazing red kites riding the thermals, to the deer crossing roads late at night, to barn owls swooping down to grab dinner at twilight, to glow worms, slow worms, foxes, hedgehogs, mice, shrews and many more. In late Spring the verges are awash with buttercup, cow parsley, foxglove, ferns and more and our beautiful hedgerows - ancient and modern - are a vital resource for wildlife.
